Happy Friday one and all! I hope you have all had a great week!
Personally, I had a tough week, but I actually had the chance to get my camera out for a change and that makes it all better, right?!
Take a few moments to look back over your shots from the last week or two (or three) and pick a couple of your favorites to share here.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
GiGi
GiGi, sorry to hear you had a rough week. ((Hugs)) Are you going to show us any of the photos you had a chance to take this week? I hope so!
Well, I'll start it out before I end up in the kitchen all morning!
Last Friday was DS's third birthday, and on Sat. we had his party at Chuck E. Cheese. So here is the cake I made for him, and then a shot from the party with DH - an image I LOVE because it just shows pure joy and connection between them, I feel!
And this is him sporting a hat he got for his birthday:
I tried a little high-key processing on this one, for fun. I call it, "Is Anyone Down There?" Reminds me of the book "Murmel, Murmel, Murmel".
So she won't feel left out, here is the B&W conversion I posted the other day of DD:
And last but not least (sorry so many), I really loved how this one from our walk turned out yesterday:

Tracy ... DS's bday looks like so much fun! And what a cool cake you made for him! I love the high key shot. Very welll done! And that last shot ... is that effect accomplished with a wide open aperture, a slow shutter speed, or some combination of both? I love it regardless!
Here's a few from me ...
first a couple more of the young couple. they were a lot of fun despite the boyfriend's reservations at being in front of the camera.
this one is just a VERY quick snap of Logan (he got a student of the week award, but he did NOT want this taken - can you tell?)
and one more ... this is older than a week and Loli took it. He was helping me test my new beauty dish & gridded snoot. Not quite the look I was going for and he had trouble with the focus, but it's the first time I've come out from behind the camera in months, so I figured I would share.
Best,
GiGi
Wide open aperture, f1.8 -- SS was about 1/400th of a sec, so definitely even though parts of it almost look like motion blur, it's not.
Great shots, GiGi! I think that couple you shot is so sweet! Cool for Logan to get Student of the Week! And really nice to see a shot of you! Good job, Loli!

GiGi- CONGRATS to Logan! Well done! I agree, nice to see YOU!
Here are a few from me. Just snaps. One is technically from last week, but I haven't shared it yet.
She was EXHAUSTED!
Snuggles
He wanted his helmet on to play catch.
Laughter
This made me giggle. She made me think of ET with the towel on her head!
