I am ready to have a speedlight for my camera. Most of the pictures I take of A&A are indoors, and I find that I have to bump my ISO pretty high because lighting in our house is less than ideal. And while it allows me to have a faster SS, I generally don't have good catch-lights in their eyes. I have a Nikon D5100 and was thinking of getting the SB700. Anyone have options on it, or is there something else you would suggest?
The SB700 retails for $330 on the Nikon website. I can get one that's been refurbished from Adorama for $280. But I also found this on eBay. Nikon SB 700 I TTL AF Speedlight Flash Kit for Digital SLR Camera SB700 New USA 18208048083 | eBay This is actually where I bought my camera from. Would it be worth it for me to spend the little extra money on this kit? How much use would I really get out of the other items-- Will they make a big difference or not?
TIA for any insight.
