Flashback Friday! (4/26)

I really need to see some photos after the past couple of days that I've had. Plus, my children had me up at 5:40 this morning, so I need a pick-me-up! I'll be back with mine as soon as I can get them uploaded. May not be until this afternoon though.

Sorry to hear about your rough start to the day, and the less than great week, Steph! Praying things will start looking up!

I shared my Micah picture from yesterday (thank you for your kind comment about it, Steph -- true, there are no technical flaws when you capture the right moment with your kid Lol and have shared some of their funny face pictures on the P52 thread. But here are a few from our weekend away last weekend. We spent a lot of time in the hotel because it was so cold!

Eating jello with a coffee stir stick!!

Crazier yet, eating salad with two stir sticks:

They liked the hotel beds:

Her little pose here kind of cracked me up.

Pedestrian bridge to the park:

A moment of panic when she thought she couldn't get up the ladder:

Made it:

A beautiful drive home:

Cherry blossoms at DH's work:

One more funny of Micah, because he just looks so stressed out here! He was watching a fly or something, and he's not fond of bugs, so he got a little tense!

I did Nora's hair in tight braids last night as she wanted it "poofy". The result:

Just showing off my fur-babies, not very good pictures, they were taken on my phone and posted on instagram.

My cat Silver invading the bed.

The dogs in their own beds, well 2 parts of one bed. (and I so need to vacuum, I swear it never ends)

Sorry to hear it was cold on your vacation. What a bummer! You got some great shots out of it though!

Amy, I love that tulip shot! And all of them for that matter!

The dogs are so cute curled up on their beds Smile

I actually have some of my own stuff to share this week. I didn't have a session this past weekend, so I was able to finish up the one from the Sunday before last, and focus on my stuff again. Nothing special, really, but some good memories Smile

We didn't have any t-ball games last weekend, so we went to the zoo.

Carson was all about the bubbles:

The pout:

The boys have been getting REALLY dirty with the weather being nicer and us playing outside all day. Snot, dirt, and food!

The kids are really into Indiana Jones right now. My parents bought them both hats and whips. The whip has already been put on top of the fridge...

I love when I catch a sweet moment between them

First off, sorry I've been MIA for a few weeks. TTC has me stressed out more than I ever thought it could. We're on cycle #3 now, and I'm feeling kind of defeated. I know it's normal for it to take a while, but Ryken was on try #1 and Sully was an oops, so I just assumed it would happen right away. Also, I'm having issues with spotting throughout my cycle which make me think there's an underlying issue Sad

Tracy- Great captures! I love that last one.
Amy- tulips are my fav Smile
Amanda- Sweet furbabies!
Steph- LOVE that last one. So sweet!
Tia- Love that vintage camera!

Here's a few I took the other night we had a bon fire.

Oh, Steph! I feel your pain! My boys are up between 530-6am every. single. morning. It's so exhausting some days tending to multiple demands at such a ridiculous hour in the morning! Lol

I love these shares. It's a great way to catch up with everyone!

Tracy - love Nora's poofy hair.
Amy - that tulip is just gorgeous.
Amanda - your fur babies are adorable.
Stephanie - that last one is just the best. I can tell your kids will be the best of friends with each other.
Tialee - yay for more clothes. You can never have enough.
Katie - great B&W as always!

Here is one I took of my sister and her son. I so wish I got his foot... oh well.

Amy, love those, especially the dogwood (?) that I commented on on FB. It is so great with the vivid colour and the crispness of the detail of the focal blossom.

Muddee, so cute!

Steph, that last shot is awesome! What a keeper, such precious memories! And the bubble ones are so fun.

Happy birthday, Tia, looks like you had a pretty great one!

Katie, so sorry to hear of your struggles TTC. I will pray for you. Your pics are great, and as always, such nice conversions. I love the last two.

El, that is very sweet! A treasure.

Sadie, I love all of those, but especially that last one of Randy! That's so my kids! More Carson than Jackson this time, since Jackson hates riding bikes lol!

That last one of mine would be even sweeter if they were reading a book or something instead of playing the 3DS...........lol

Sadie, I love all of those birthday shots! Looks like such a great day for him!

Our kids really are close in age, Ruthie's just a bit older than Nora and Randy's just a few months younger than Micah. It'd be so fun if we lived closer! Smile

Tracy ... you always (even in your snaps) do such a great job of using the available light! really makes the eyes of your kids shine!

Amy ... the colors in #4 are just to DIE for! WOW! Is that dogwood? We only ever see white blooms around here.

Amanda ... your fur babies are just TOO CUTE!

Steph ... sorry to hear you've been having a rough time. But if any thread can perk you up, it's this one! LOVE the bubble shots! And book/DS ... matters not (or at least, not MUCH) when you see your boys together like that. What a wonderful memory to have captured!

Tia ... looks like a pretty awesome birthday! congrats!

Katie ... sorry to hear you are having ttc worries. hang in there! I really love this set! it looks like such a good time for everyone! i can't even pick a favorite. Smile

El ... foot or no ... this needs to be printed ... BIG! I would love to have a moment like that from when Logan was that size. this image makes my arms ache for when I could (easily) carry him. *sigh*

Sadie ... I can't believe how fast your kiddos are growing. aren't they both still in diapers??? Wink seriously ... looks like a fabulous birthday! and it is great to see YOU too (Ruthie did a great job)!

Not much from me. I was sick most of the week (I'm on day 7 of this *&@# migraine). I even missed a day and half of work and that just NEVER happens. of course, now I have a lot of catch up to do as well. *sigh*

ANYWAY ... here are a few from Logan's soccer game though:

and my bully princess:

Have a great week everyone!

Thank you! Yes it's a pink-flowering dogwood on the campus where I work. I LOVE it and I look forward to it blooming every year! Smile
