Sorry so many! We had some fun this second week of summer vacation!
Steph ... you guys are really in summer mode, aren't you?! Love these! That park looks AMAZING! I wish we had places like that near by.
I actually have a few to share this week!
We went to visit friends on Memorial Day. They have THE most precious almost 2 year old.
I got to chaperone a field trip for Logan's class:
this is his "gang of buds":
they got to play racquetball:
they got to play a lot of things, but this was their favorite.
and today is the last day of 5th grade for my "baby" (oh how he hates it when I call him that):
Oh my heart .... *sigh*
I know ... this is an awful lot from me too. But with the way I've been posting lately, it's like making up for a month or so all at once.
I can't wait to see what everyone else has to share this week!
Any chance some of our southern hemisphere friends have cool weather pics to share? I'm already melting in the Texas summer and it's only just getting started. I'd love to dream about your cool weather.
Seriously, I hope everyone will come out and share a bit today!
Those are so great! I loved the ones I saw on FB, Steph, and there are a few more I don't remember seeing too... what fun! I envy your summer mode; Nora has almost a full month of school left. But we don't have summer weather yet anyway, so I guess I should be content.
GiGi, I love those "last day of school" pics! Those are great, esp. that second-to-last one!! Wow. Love the field trip ones too!
My smiley boy is just too much fun lately (and coming out of the BAD phase he's been in for a while, too, yay!):
I shared these on the 'forest' thread, but here's a repeat, as they had so much fun that day. They keep asking for more nature walks.
And I've shared the photos in these before, but just have to share my latest greeting card ventures. I really am LOVING the creative process of putting photos into something unique and meaningful. It's just a great creative outlet for me. And I actually sold about 150 Mother's Day cards on GreetingCardUniverse.com! So anyway, here are some of this week's efforts:
Tracy- Simple adore the new one of Micah! Those eyes!
Steph- sad that I have lived here in AR all my life and I have never been there! That is now on my to do list! GREAT photos! Love the ones with you in them!
GiGi- HOLY SMOKES! He is looking more and more like a teen! Love that 2nd one of him being silly!
SUMMER TIME has hit here! We are loving it too!DSC_0244_web by sadieruth, on Flickr

Ok, I finally got all of my belly pics edited and uploaded! Here's a small progression for you:
Here's the whole set on Flickr:http://flickr.com/gp/stephanieamiller/3RHes9/
Love flashback Fridays!!!
Stephanie - great shots, love the coon hat picture and your belly progression shots!
Gigi - OMG can't believe logan is done with 5th grade! He sure is growing so fast and so handsome
Tracy - You have great talent with your cards. You are truly great with words!
Sadie - Aww look at their time out faces! Hope they weren't there too long.
My best friend got married and I somehow filled in as the photographer for her big day! This is at the apple orchard near where they got married.
Sadie, I love your summer/pool shots! And I'm in awe that Ruthie will jump off a diving board. My kids are both terrified of jumping into the water (well, Micah's just terrified of the water, period). More swim lessons this summer!
Steph, looking good!!! How are you feeling?
El, what a sweet picture! And thanks for the comments about my cards. Though I can't take credit for the teacher one; that was DH! I was struggling with that one, someone offered a suggestion, and then he improved on it and came up with the result here.
Feeling pretty good, Tracy! I will admit that I'm still really tired all the time. It's probably exaggerated because I'm chasing around 2 other children (and boys at that!). I try to keep them out of the house as much as possible so they don't kill each other.
Very nice photo, El! How did it go, filling in as photographer??
Sadie, that's awesome that she's going off the diving board. And obviously under water! I can't get Carson to go under. He will be doing swimming lessons the beginning of July. I hope that he will work up the courage to go under. I LOVE that time-out photo!
Tracy, I agree that your cards are great! And that one of Micah! To die for!
GiGi, how can Logan look exactly the same as he did as a little guy, but so grown up at the same time?? Not fair! 6th grade!! For some reason that grade always sticks out to me. I had a really great time that year.
Tracy - Micah is just SO cute and his eyes just melt me like butter.
Sadie - you guys are just the PICTURE of summer fun!
Steph - I just LOVE seeing your baby bump grow! TFS!
El - that's such a sweet shot of the hapyp couple! and that orchard looks like a truly lovely place.
Logan's growth is really hitting me hard right now. He's just about to pass me up in height. How can that be happening already? I dropped him off at camp this morning and he just seemed so BIG. It's getting hard to tell him apart from the counselors. Thankfully he'll still cuddle with me from time to time.
