FLASHBACK FRIDY! and Snapshot a Day (2/28)

It's Friday! And payday! Woot! Now I get to go shopping for a cute outfit for Hudson and take him in for his (late) 3 month photos. Just going to Portrait Innovations, due to the Dave Ramsay plan, but at least it's better than nothing! Wink

Lets see some shots from the past week!

If I don't do it now, I won't get the chance. All I have are flashback pics so far.

Hudson in the swing for the first time. He's a little apprehensive about it, but I'm sure he'll grow to love it, just like the other 2 Smile

Jackson was stacking his Oreo cookie on top of the Lunchable. Can you say Ew!

He's finally starting to ride his bike! He would only ride the tricycle for the longest time.

The kids got their own library cards last Friday. We don't go to the library that often (since we practically have a library in our own bookshelf Wink ), so Carson was overwhelmed and had a hard time choosing what he wanted lol!

I hope this isn't a sign about how he feels about the camera LOL!

Too bad I forgot to turn off the overhead light Sad I specifically took these to work on color. Used a grey card and everything. His poor hair is still yellow. I still love this one though! If I find some time, I may try to fix the hair, but something tells me I won't get to it.

Those are all great shot, Steph. They're getting so grown up, trying and doing new things and growing so fast! I love the library shot and the lunchables shot.

I will get more later, but my snapshot for today is of Nora holding her "S.O.A.R. Award" from school, which she'll be receiving 'officially' at an assembly this morning. I'll go to the assembly and have more pics of that, but I wanted a decent one of the award. I'm proud of my kids when they learn new skills or improve their skills, like Nora with her reading coming along so well; but I'm MOST proud of them when they are just great human beings, and that's what this award is all about. Smile It says "Nora's caring and thoughtful nature contributes to a positive classroom environment. Her kind ways model what it means to be a good friend."

As for flashback pics, our snow is mostly gone but here's a few more snow shots:

We went to Vancouver last weekend for a full day of fun, and one of the stops we made was to see if the Vancouver 2010 Olympic flame was lit in honour of the men's hockey gold; but we missed it by about an hour. It was only going to be lit from 4 pm - 8 pm. Oh well. Instead the kids had fun standing on a Vancouver Olympics podium as gold medalists, of course.

And a few more shots from that day, in Science World:

Oh, and that blowing snow pic I asked about on Facebook? Two of the best photographers in the camera club, who were judging the other night, said it was their favourite of the night. Smile I did submit it in colour as that seemed to be the popular choice.

Steph - your boys are all so adorable! At first, I thought Hudson favored Jackson quite a bit, but I am seeing more of Carson in him lately. I think he's got his own look, actually, but it's fun to see how the different traits are coming out in him. LOVE LOVE LOVE that last b&w of Carson! His expression goes so perfectly with the conversion. WOW!

Tracy - Logan's elementary school did awards like that too (called "Fabulous Falcon" award) and it really does warm your heart to see your kiddo being recognized for that kind of behavior! I love the shot on the Olympics podium! They both look like they're ready to receive their medals!

I didn't get much this week, but I'm happy to say I at least got my camera out a few times for these shots:

this is my snap for today - Loki hoarding his toys again:

SOCCER STARTS THIS WEEKEND! So my camera is charged, the memory card is clear, and I am READY to have some pics to share next week! Biggrin

Take care guys!
