Default Flowers & such (lots of pictures)

Just sharing some of my recent photos. The first 7 are from the same place where my camera died a couple of weeks ago. Took Jack back there after taking Natalie to school just to take some pictures.

    1. Amy informed me that this wasn't a bee, it's a drone fly/flower fly. I hate bees and I totally thought it was a bee when I was photographing it.

    Exposure 0.001 sec (1/1250)
    Aperture f/3.2
    Focal Length 57 mm
    ISO Speed 100

    2. I just love seeing the bug's shadow here

    Exposure 0.001 sec (1/1000)
    Aperture f/3.2
    Focal Length 68 mm
    ISO Speed 100

    3. The cropped bokeh from a photo like the photo above ... you don't see this in the crop I posted, but how cool is this?

    4. Berries ... Amy will have to tell me what these are. They're kinda small, smaller than a dime. Jack kept picking them but because I didn't know what they are, I had to keep reminding him not to eat them.

    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/640)
    Aperture f/3.2
    Focal Length 47 mm
    ISO Speed 100

    5. From the same day, just different area

    Exposure 0.001 sec (1/1250)
    Aperture f/3.2
    Focal Length 28 mm
    ISO Speed 100

    6. A rose

    Aperture f/4.5
    Focal Length 33 mm
    ISO Speed 100

    7. Can't you just see this in a family photo shoot?

    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/640)
    Aperture f/4.0
    Focal Length 30 mm
    ISO Speed 100

    8. A very close crop of Jack's eye ... I usually can't see myself this well in the catchlights, must be because I wore white that day.

    9. I posted this in my flashback Friday post, but wanted to share it here too

    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500)

    10. I wish I had a good zoom lens ... I took this near sunset

    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500)
    Aperture f/4.0
    Focal Length 59 mm
    ISO Speed 250

Can't wait to see the family pics soon! I would so go back there! I am curious- what is this place? A park or something?

Ooh I really like #5, 6, and 10! The berries are hard to identify without any leaves showing. They could possibly be unripe elderberries but I'm not 100% sure.

There's lots of paved trails out where I live. I followed this paved trail by a restaurant, and it led to a barn (there's a huge veggie garden but it's fenced in with a lock so I couldn't get there). All of these pictures are on the grounds of the barn and trail. I wouldn't call it a park as it's not labeled as such. The restaurant is called Clyde's at Willow Creek Farm, and so I think the whole barn and area is the actual farm. The area where I live used to be all farm land, but they started developing it about 20 years ago so most of the fields and such have been built on. I was really surprised when I stumbled upon the barn a few weeks ago. What's funny is that I knew there was supposed to be a farm with the restaurant (as I had read about it) but I had no idea where it was. I had no clue that the trails would lead to it, hidden behind trees that separate it from the restaurant. The restaurant itself is really pretty and I'd love to use it for photoshoots but it's too busy there.

Amy - I cropped out some leaves, I think. I'll go back to it and see if I can share an uncropped version so you can tell me what it is.
