    Default Followed a tutorial...

that I found on another website (not sure if I'm allowed to say it? Deviant art - I'll remove that if you want me to) and I put an effect on one of my photos that turned it into this: what do you think? Is it just really cheesy and naff? I had fun learning how to do it anyway! (but like an idiot didn't save the link so will have to search for it again!)
(Oh, I'm even more pleased because I snapped this pic out of the car window when I was waiting for Alex - he was looking at the boats - and had it on manual but it came out a bit wrong because the sun was low as it was early evening so this has kind of saved a disappointing photo!)

(Apologies if it's huge, photobucket seems to take an age to resize)

Cool! I usually don't like the heavy lomo/cross processed look, but I think it totally works on this photo!

Thank you - I thought it looked a bit rubbish on other photos but I think it worked on this one, more so because it was already a bit off, but with this I kind of like the 70's feel to it. I'm going to do more playing today and hopefully not just keep using effects!

Yeah, that looks quite atmospheric chick. I usually don't like narrow crops, but it works on this.

Thank you gorgeous I seem to have been cropping a lot of things that same way and without thinking I did I seem to have developed a 'style' - I'm all macro, funny angles and widescreen

REALLY COOL PROCESSING! It totally works here ... as does the panoramic crop.
