We visited some family in Upstate NY last week. Here are a couple from the trip.

They have a little farm....here is James sitting in the grass.

Nathan said that this was his favorite part of the trip. He's hitting walnuts with a stick. THIS is the life I want for him. I hope hope hope that someday we can move back to the country and get out of this concrete jungle.

And a couple I didn't take. We went to Niagra Falls. It was raining pretty hard so my camera became useless....plus, I couldn't take it out in all the water on the Maid in the Mist boat. I'm so glad my Mom had her point and shoot.

Really great pictures, Katie - your kids always look like they're having so much fun!

Amber, those pictures are just gorgeous, as always. (And as someone who grew up in the city, I never wanted to be a country girl... until I had kids. Now I long for those wide open spaces for my kids to do things like hit walnuts with a stick, too!)

Just love the expression here. (And speaking of concrete jungles... so not fun living in a townhouse with a yard the size of a postage stamp, with chain link fence in EVERY shot I take out there!!!!!!!!)
