I had this idea to do a painted chair shot.
I searched 2nd hand stores for an old chair and after I found one I bought some turquoise paint and painted it.
Today I took it out to a small lake and ''tried'' to take some shots of it. I was thinking it would be easy since the chair could not move like my kids do. I even brought my 3yr old incase I wanted to get crazy and try to get him to sit on the chair for a few shots
THE RESULT HORRIBLE I did not edit at all since I didn't like the pictures to begin with so both are sooc.
Im not sure if it's the lines of the pier that are bothering me or just where I positioned the chair? After all that work I feel like I did it for nothing. I am going to retry when the sun is not right above me but even if there were no shadows I would still hate it.
My vision was the chair in a field of wheat but there was snow everywhere so I used the pier.
I did get Damien to sit on the chair but he wanted to leave so it didn't work.
Any idea's on how to make this work? Anyone have any examples?
I think that horizontal would work much better for this.
