Man this photography thing is addicting! My daughter had to model at kohl's yesterday. Well her shoot time was at noon which was perfect cause I could take her out for lunch, do the shoot, and have her back to school by the time recess was over. I still have not gone back to the bus but I wanted to so bad. I even thought of taking her out 1/2 day in the morning just to go. Then I thought TIA! you can't take your daughter out of school to get good morning light! lol So anyhow I pick her up at lunch time and go. Well I always wait in the lounge and she goes to model. There is a big long hallway where I could see her shooting but I can only see if I am going down the hall to the bathroom. So... I figure I'm pregnant, pregnant people go to the bathroom all the time! I went down the hall but I was not trying to watch her I was trying to watch the photographers lol I was just interested in seeing how all the lighting was set up and how they shoot. Jazz told me later mom, I waived hi to you and you did not even look at me. I told her sorry babe just amazed by the photographers Sometimes she has outdoor shoots and I am always watching her but now this modeling thing is a whole new world for me lol just had to share what a dork I am.
LOL!!! That's pretty funny! I would have done the same thing. So did you learn anything by watching the photographers? It will be fun to put to use what you see them do and see if it helps you get better results.
Oh gosh lol funny! And yes it's a whole new different world once you start getting into photography and learning more about it. Now, whenever I go to someones house, if they have professional looking photos on their walls I always ask who took them, etc. I sit and look at them and critique them in my head. they probably just think i'm admiring their beautiful kids, family, etc. when all I'm looking at is the "other" side of it all but of course they are nice.
too funny indeed!
I do the same thing! What an incredible opportunity to get to watch pro photogs in a setting like modeling.
HAHA! That is too funny!
