I did a PB session for a friend back in April and I sent a disk to her with about 20 or so images on it. Edited. Watermarked. and offered her a free 5x7 print. She now wants a disk of the untouched images and not the disk. She is willing to pay me for it but I dont want to give this to her with fear that she post them and what not or edit them herselves and call it her work. Not sure how to handle this one, suggestions?
Thanks ladies. As I read her email, my gut felt that it was an odd request and that I shouldn't give them to her. I'm composing an email now to her gently saying that I don't give away unedited images and offering to re-edit them for her to her specific liking if she so chooses.
Just say NO....and you DON'T need to re-edit either. The cool thing about a PB shoot is that it's for you. You get to make ALL of the creative choices and she gets 20 free images.

Is it possible to offer her unedited but still watermarked? I really enjoy editing pictures in my own style and playing with them. It might not be as devious as her wanting to take credit for the pics, maybe she just wants her own play at them. Obviously, protect your copyright, but... am I missing some reason to not let her edit them if she's willing to pay for the rights?
chiming in late, but I agree, don't give them!
