On a message board the topic of family cloth came up and somebody googled it.. I was curious to see what google had to say about it so I googled it.. then did an image search and what did I see? A picture of MY family cloth taken when I had just started... Glenn Beck STOLE my pictures and used it on an article..
The top two pictures on the article are mine (of the cloth and then the pail)... The pictures were originally posted on Diaper Swappers.
I dont watermark my images as Ive had the whole "it wont happen to me".. I dont have pictures were stealing.. right? Wrong. I guess somebody BADLY needed a picture of what I use to wipe my butt with...
I need to get a watermark!!
Oh that's not good. hmm....
First of all we don't want him coming back to find us here talking about him so could you possibly fix the link? (break it up or something like that). It's best that he doesn't come here to see this
Second...have you emailed him yet about that? I know I would. That's just wrong when people steal pictures or take them without permission. I would definitely work on watermarking your pictures no matter what type of picture it is. Put it right in the middle of the photo so people can't crop it out.
I didnt see a link to contact him... then again it was like 3am when I found it lol Ill look again later and try to contact him.
As for the op, I would email them about this and let his people know.

yeah i guess it wouldn't be that bad if he saw it but all I am trying to do is prevent him, or whoever did it, from stealing other photos from our board. Now, I have no idea where that person got the OP's photos from in the first place but if it wasn't from here then It's best we don't give them that temptation. A lot of people post photos of their kids on preg.org and a lot of them aren't watermarked.
I would bet anything that they just used google picture search using "family cloth". I would definitely contact them.
You need to do a print screen of your images on his site, then e-mail him and demand payment for the use of your images and that if you do not recieve payment, you will seek damages in court. It's just plain wrong!
You might want to point out that if he wants to speak to someone who uses family cloth, it might be a good idea to contact the person whose pictures were stolen!!!!
You may want to send them their own link to copyright info and say that your work follows under the same laws and ask how they could possibly claim copyright on an image they don't own and illegally STOLE! LOL
HERE is the contact page:
