    Default Grey Card/Skin Tone?

Using a grey card will pretty much fix all skin tone issues? True? False? Ideas? Comments? TIA!

well that certainly would be an awesome easy fix haha probably if its that easy then no but I'm sure it helps......ok really I have no clue sorry, I'm interested to hear too, I do try to use appropriate settings for wb but I suppose even a little off can really mess things up

I just posted about this on ILP not long ago.. I don't really know still. I don't even LIKE the resulting image when I use my DGK.. they all seem so warm and red to me! Even if the skintones are correct, I end up adding some blue and cyan back into the rest of the image and I cool the WB down as a whole..

Didn't help me! I tried grey card for a while and it had no improvement...of course I was also using the Xti at the time, and the color on that thing was terrible compared to the 5D Mark II...so maybe I should give it another shot.

I was told by a photographer at work that if you have a Canon you should use white instead of gray for your WB, thoughts?

Well, at least I'm in good company!!! I did notice that I didn't have to futz with the skintones on the one shoot that I used the borrowed mark II..
