I'm so tired, I shouldn't even be editing right now. Actually, I just closed photoshop, my bed is calling. but lucky for you I uploaded to Flickr already.
here are a couple from Natalie's 4 year portrait session. that child was a challenge to photograph! I really prefer the outdoors shots, she's a challenge with the backdrop (I have plenty where half of her is off the backdrop -ugh!!)
Here's the one I think will go on the wall
And a couple others
I love this one (the colors seem off on this version) ... but the backdrop differences bug me too much to work with this one too much
She was my giggly girl!
Andrew came home from school, saw the backdrop set up, and wanted me to photograph him. It's rare that happens so I obliged.
And my project 365 photo for today ... I bounced the speedlight, but his room is yellow and so SOOC is interesting.
hey, and Steph, thanks for asking! I'm in single mommy mode, so it's been hard to try to get those edited and even harder to catch up on my boards lately.

You are growing Gwen! Nice job. The backgrounds are easy fixes. I love the giggly one.
On the first one, you are just clipping that red channel on the cheek. Go into curves and choose the red channel, bring down the far right line just a tad (the highlights).
Let me know if you want me to do a screen capture for you with your pic for reference. Would be happy to help.
thanks Stacey! I just got CS4 for Christmas, and I'm still in total learning mode. So I haven't dealt with fixing clipped channels yet. I'd love a screen capture for kicks, but am definitely giving it a play. Sucks because I was impatient and already ordered the prints. It's just Costco (btw, using their color profiles makes the prints SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better!), so maybe I can order new prints with the fixed reds and tell them I'm not getting the other ones. I'm only out $3 even if I get the "bad" ones though.
