Went on a hike with the fam yesterday. I was taking a photo of this purple flower when a beautiful butterfly landed right on it. What a wonderful accident!

The hiking trail was to a little waterfall. I hadn't brought my tripod...but there was this perfect broken rail that had grooves in it that perfectly cradled my camera so I could finally get a long exposure of moving water. I've been wanting to try this forever. I'm so glad that I finally had the right circumstances!

And this one is no accident. Sat Nathan and myself in the shade, handed the camera to DH, and told Nathan that under no circumstances should he look at the camera and smile. LOL
Works every time!

Those are all great photos, your DH took a beautiful shot of you and your son. Absolutely love the long exposure waterfall, looks almost like a painting.

Those are all just beautiful! Your waterfall is awesome, and such a nice accident with the butterfly! I'm sure it felt great to be that lucky! And what a nice photo of you and your son. I never get anything like that. No one can seem to focus my camera correctly, or get my kids to look!
Amber, those are awesome! How neat that the butterfly just landed at the right moment! It was meant to be.
Funny about the waterfall shot -- I've been itching to get out to a local waterfall myself, to try that kind of shot. It is sooooo beautiful with the water all soft like that! I love it!
And LOL about telling Nathan not to look at the camera. That's brilliant! Really nice shot of you guys together.
