Happy Halloween!

Anyone carving pumpkins? Decorating the house? Have cute costumes to share? I just carved these three last night:

Wow, those are seriously fantastic!!! I suck at carving pumpkins, partly because my arthritis in my hands makes it hard... but I did the designs on two last night and DH will carve them tonight.

We have some really cute home-made costumes for the kids -- they're snorklers (sp?) with snorkle masks and they coloured fish and applied them to a blue recycling bag, and will wear one more blue bag over top to make it look like the fish are in water. The kids are psyched for Halloween!

Very nice! I'm hoping we get a chance to carve ours.

I haven't gotten a chance to do a shoot with the kids yet, but they're going to be Wolverine, black Spider-man, and red Spider-man.

This is fun! Suzanne, those are pretty good looking pumpkins. How did you manager to not break off.

Stephanie - your kids are cute. I like the scary pictures.

I need to do this. I might set up my studio tonight - if I am not too lazy.. lol.

El, those little pumpkin carving kits are fantastic. I had to use the tiniest blade for the Darth Kitty one. It seemed like it took forever because the pieces were so small. It doesn't hurt that it's my second year doing that design though. I made up the template last year, and it was such a hit then that I had to do it again.

Steph, those costumes are so cute! I LOVE the one of "Mickey" by himself!

Here's our kids ready for Halloween. The neck- and arm-holes on the bags are a bit big to fit over their thick jackets, but I think it's pretty cute.

I usually make ours, but I caved and bought this year. They were more than happy though, so I am more than happy! Here's my batman and batgirl. Speedlight is out and I just went with auto and pop up flash (UGH!) More tonight in the sunlight!
