Hey Guys ...
I know everyone gets busy in the summer and we all kind of drop off. I'm the worst as summer is my busiest time at work.
And while we're still in the thick of things for at least another week or two, I just wanted to pop on, share a quick photo and encourage those with a little time to do the same. Just a running share. No CC needed (unless you want it). Just something to get the posts flowing again.
Soon fall will be upon us in the Northern Hemisphere and spring will be springing for those in the Southern. Those are the BEST photo times (for me, anyway) so I hope you will all take a minute to grab your cameras and snap a shot or two to share here.
And here's the photo I was going to share:
this bully boy is named 'Rocco' and we are hoping he will be the daddy of the new pup we hope to be adding to the family in the next couple of months.
The breeder has given me the OK to take pics of all the pups once they arrive in a few weeks, so I should have lots of fuzzy round puppy pics to share in the coming weeks.
Goodness .. it looks like she's grown 6" in the last few months! I hope she had a wonderful day to start off the new school year.

Gigi great shot of the dog how exciting!
I love Nora's sign. I wish I woulda thought of that! So cute!
Just a quick snap from me from first day of kindergarten with my novel I posted on my facebook that day
Today is my Damien's first day of kindergarten and I thought it might be a little hard on me but it was 10x worse!
Everything was good till dad and I said we had to go. He had never been in daycare so started crying and not just sad crying but more like a lion is coming full force at me crying! There is nothing worse then seeing your child want you and you have to just walk away. (Well after 20 minutes I walked away) I kept my cool till I hit the school hallway and then I lost it like a train was coming at me and I was stuck on the tracks! A random stranger asked if I was okay and even though she was a random stranger if she would have offered a hug I woulda took it! And I don't even mean the 2 pat guy hug I mean the full two arm squeeze I am losing my S#@! right now lady hug!
I thought it was a great idea for us to walk him to school till I realized I had to walk all the way home crying my eyes out. I don't even think I looked while crossing the road and even if I would have got hit by a car and had officers see me cry asking if I was alright cause I just got hit I would say NO! I just left my baby like the car did not phase me!
When I finally got home I seen a cape out that I had used for a photo shoot and I so just wanted to throw that baby on and run in full force back up to the school like MOMMY'S HERE DAMIEN!
I told you I was a hot mess! I called the school and they said he was fine and settled down but I think she was lying but I was good with that. I just needed a good strong lie to get me thru today! Needless to say I will be looking at the clock all day just waiting for 3:30

Gigi - If those pups are anything like dad they will be ADORABLE! Beautiful shot.
Tracy - Hope Nora's first day was lots of fun, she has grown so much.
Tia - I thought with having several kids you'd be used to the whole kindergarten thing, though when they melt down it makes things so much more difficult.
Natalie will be finishing up her first day of Jr Kindergarten soon, she was excited to go. At first she was in awe at the amount of kids in kindergarten but loved it, she entered the kindergarten yard (they are fenced off from the bigger kids) and started playing right away. When the bell rang she got in line then smiled at me and cheerfully said good bye. Can't wait until tonight to hear how her day went.

Not very happy with these, I was rushed them and didn't have good light (my house sucks for that).
CC is welcome but not required.

Tia ... You've got to follow up that post with info on how his day went! did he come home with tales of all the fun they had? was the 2nd day any better for you guys? I'm sorry the first day was so rough on you both. In pre-K Logan had severe separation anxiety, so I fully understand the emotions. I often cried my whole way to work. Then at pick up they would tell me what a great day he had and that helped, at least a little. Hang in there!
Amanda ... it looks like Natalie was ready for her first day of Kindergarten! I love the chalk board - that is so precious! My favorite is the 2nd shot. I feel like more of her personality comes across and the hot light on her face is more even. She really looks like she was raring to go!
Thanks for jumping in, guys! It's so fun to see how everyone is growing and changing!
Natalie enjoyed her first day her friend from camp is in her class and she made a new friend so that made her happy. I spoke with her teacher this morning and she said Natalie is sweet and she enjoys having her in her class. I just hope that over time Natalie doesn't get bored, because then the teacher will see the other side of Natalie, that child can be like Jekyll and Hyde.
