    Default Headshots for CC please

Working on a much cleaner edit here. Amber gave me some awesome advice, and I fianally sharpened for web and wowzers....it makes a huge difference! Anyways, I did a few headshots for a friend. She is using them on her business card for her beauty shop. Be honest...

Sadie, these look great! Personally, I'd warm them up just a tad, but that's personal taste

    Mind sharing your sharpening technique?

Nice! Did you shoot in RAW? If you did then you can recover the highlights in her top. In the second one have you brightened her teeth? they are a little too bright, and my eyes go there straight away when I look at the picture! The eyes look great though.

Stephanie- to be honest, it was a sharpening/defogging action. Can't remember where I got it.

Iliana- yes, I shot in RAW. Are you meaning the highlights in her hair? As for her teeth- no, I didn't do anything to them. I think it's b/c her upper lip is small, she calls them lizard lips....

Iliana you may want to check your monitor's calibration. The shirt looked blown on my laptop, but here on my calibrated monitor they are clearly not blown. I also pulled them into Photoshop just to check and the shirts have just the teensiest bits of blown green...but only green and only in specks around the seams. Also, the teeth don't look too bright to me. If anything I'd desaturated them just a touch to remove a tiny bit of yellow. Let me emphasize....just a touch!

I agree that they need warming up. The skin is a little cyan and both photos could use a touch more red....especially in the highlights.

Overall, they are lovely. You've done nice clean edits here. Great light in the eyes and good composition on both.

Sadie, I want to see all the pics you've ever posted sharpened for web!!

I think it really does make such a huge difference!

These pics freak me out because she looks identical to a girl I graduated with.

    Anyway, nice job!

I find the teeth in #2 distracting also. I can't stop looking at them when I look at that picture. However, I other than the teeth, these look pretty darn good. I prefer #1
