Help with PP please-- Pic heavy

My brother got married a few weeks ago, and they asked me to take some pictures of them afterward. This was just the civil ceremony. They are going to have a "big" wedding next fall/winter sometime.... Mostly I'm looking on CC for PP, because I need to work with what I was able to capture. But CC on other aspects are always welcome. It was kinda of a last minute thing, so I didn't have time to plan anything out. We went during midday too, so the lighting wasn't ideal. My DH actually followed us around with my two filter umbrellas to keep the bright splotchy light off of their clothes. I can already tell I should have brought a step stool since he's taller than me.

Anyway, below are some of the pictures I took. In the beginning I was happy with the edits, but now I'm not. I want to try and figure out how to edit them better before getting too far into them. I'm really wanting to get these as right as I possibly can for them. I have included SOOC first, followed by the edit. What did I do wrong/ what should I do different?

TIA

I don't see anything glaring in these Smile The biggest thing I see is that they're getting a little bright in #4's edit. Congrats to your brother!

I could be wrong but the edits of 3, 4, and 6 look too green/washed out. I like these though.

Danielle- congrats to your brother and YAY for more experience!

The thing that stands out most to me is the VERY tight crops. I think that you need to step back some to get more in the picture. Did you up the saturation in these at all? In some, his face looks magenta to me. That could be the issue there. I agree with Steph that #4 is bright- I like the SOOC better. And with Amy that 3&4 are a bit green and washed out looking.

No real comments to add except to say good for you for doing this, and I think the PP looks good!

congrat to your brother. I would say the crops all look very tight. Did you do that in pp? If so I would zoom out more:)
