As per my "Last minute tips?" thread, I'm supposed to be doing a photo shoot of a senior today. We arranged to meet at a certain park, and they went there to check it out, I scouted out alternate locations in case of rain, etc. It IS raining today, but the park has the most tree cover of anywhere we went, and so we settled on it after a lot of work.
NOW the mom wants to do the photos in their back yard instead, as it's more central to everyone involved. It's a regular city lot, perhaps a slightly bigger back yard than normal, but still, a fenced-in city lot back yard. I really do not want to shoot there. The only reason she's saying it is that the husband doesn't want to take his Corvette out in the rain, and we could get car pics there. But we could probably do car pics there and then move on to the park, is my thought. It just seems she'd prefer the whole thing in one easy location, but I know it's much harder to get really great photos in a yard like that, so I'm so reluctant!
What would you say in response?
