Lost the light wayyyyyy too quickly. I had to shoot with an ISO of 2500. How can I fix this in PSE8?? Any tips?!
Someone probably has a better answer, but with my P&S's small sensor, I often have to shoot at an ISO that produces a lot of noise (for me, that's ISO 400!! :o), and I usually edit my photos as I'd like and then when I'm done, I run them through Noiseware. It works pretty well.
How much is Noiseware?
Download Noiseware Community Edition. It works GREAT, and it's free!
WOW! That has helped a BUNCH! Thanks SOOOOO much!
You're welcome! I was so surprised how much a free program could help with the noise in my photos. If I go up to 800 with my XTi, I get a bunch of noise. I know it sounds like a paid advertisement, but it really opened up a whole new world to me. I'm not afraid to bump my ISO anymore.
That is what I use too and I love it! I used to have it on my work PC too but then when the Tech Department had to redo my drive a few months ago, I lost it and wasn't able to reinstall it
When the noise isn't too horrible and I don't have access to Noiseware, I use a light-handed airbrush tool that works ok.
