Anyone take any Holiday themed pictures yet? I'm hoping to get something in the next few days. I have a few ideas. I need to catch the kids in a good mood though![]()
I'll be doing Eva's Christmas pics this week and hoping to get one of the both of us this time too, for the photo cards. I have not been on the ball with her pics this year. I'm excited to do them though!
I haven't done any but I was hoping to get Dana to cooperate in doing doing one where it looks like Natalie has tied her up with garland (we have a fiber optic tree so no lights)
Something kinda like the first shot in these.

I have this idea, just gotta get out there and let them do it! I have my last photo shoot today for this year, so I am ready to just focus on MY kids!
A package from my mom came today, containing a pair of adorable Christmas pajamas for the boys! I couldn't help but take some photos of my (uncooperative) kids!
Not the best, since my camera just can't handle low light and the flash wasn't enough, but it was all I could get. Blown reds and all

Steph, I love them! ESPECIALLY #1! That is sooooo cute. Man, I'd be beyond thrilled with myself if I got Christmas photos that looked that nice of my kids in our house with our decorations!

Steph, I never would have known they weren't cooperative. Those look great IMO.
I've taken some pictures of them, but am no where near done for the season. I want to attempt a few more "formal" pictures hopefully with all of us, and to try and get some pictures of them in their PJs around the tree. But first I need to find cute PJ's.
My fist group can be found in another thread. If you want to see them, here it is. Share from today I really need to find time to learn better editing techniques....
Here are some I took in front of the tree Saturday. I know the WB is off. I like the warmer feel in these personally.

15. f 1.8 1/320 ISO 640 Do you think f2 would have gotten all of the word in focus?
16. I took several different comps of this one. Opinions? I'm not sure I'm in love with it.

Great pics, Danielle! The twins look like they were having a lot of fun enjoying the tree. Christmas is so magical to the little ones -- you've captured a little of that here. I like the warmer feel too.
I like #16 very much, it's very pretty. I think I'd prefer it in this orientation but with the ornament lower down... but it's hard to know how that would look.

Thanks Tracy. They did have a lot of fun. Without having a flash, I wanted to try and make the low lighting work for me. I'm sure others would be able to get sharper pictures in the same situation, but I'm very pleased with them. Last year I was just starting to play around with using priority settings--- I hadn't even attempted to shoot in manual. I didn't know how to adjust the ISO, A and SS to capture what I was able to this year.
Here's a different comp for that last one.

I love your pics, Danielle! I have taken ones just like that, so I can relate (especially the ornament macros).
