    Default How are these?

Jackson is 6 months old today, so I took him out for some pictures. I'd love to know how I'm doing.

This one is SOOC, just cropped. I'm the most interested in feedback on this one, since it's untouched.

    Exposure 0.008 sec (1/125)
    Aperture f/5.6
    Focal Length 55 mm
    ISO Speed 400

    Exposure 0.004 sec (1/250)
    Aperture f/3.5
    Focal Length 22 mm
    ISO Speed 400

    Exposure 0.004 sec (1/250)
    Aperture f/4.0
    Focal Length 25 mm
    ISO Speed 400

And I just thought that this one was too cute not to share. Not the best, but he DOES smile...sometimes...

Thanks The first one is the only one SOOC. The others were just brightened a tad. Maybe I added a little contrast. I don't remember exactly lol! I know I didn't mess with the color though.

Great eyes! Great light! Great skin! the first one is very centered, but otherwise it's beautiful! If you have room to re-crop it, try to get his eyes in the upper 3rd area.

The only thing I can think of in the other ones to mention would be the tree trunk that is right "against" his head in the background.

I thought I repsonded to these!

Are his eyes really SOOC? Wow! Great eyes!

As for the tree trunk, I noticed it too. I have a tendency to do the same thing though! Great job!

Oh my! Talk about CUTE OVERLOAD!!!!! Just what I needed this morning!

    1. WHAT AMAZING EYES!!!! From what I can tell (I'm at work) color looks pretty good too. You got nice light and wonderful bokeh. If you can re-crop though, he's awful centered. I would probably try to crop to where he's slightly more in the left third of the frame.

    2. I like the pose here. Focus looks great too. But he looks a little bright. Gosh those cheeks are great though!

    3. LOVE THIS!!!!! He looks SO CUTE! this one doesn't seem so bright. Focus looks great too. And those amazing eyes seem to be shining right out at us.

    4. SUPER SWEET SMILE! They're so hard to catch at that age. And again, you got great light in those beautiful eyes.

    TFS Stephanie!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, those eyes are all him. They really catch all the light when we're outside. They're just amazing!

I'll have to do a different crop on the first one. Didn't notice how centered he was until you all brought it up

I've had this open for a few days so I didn't forget to reply to it.

    1. Love those eyes! I don't think it matters that he's centered. I don't put too much weight on the ROT, it all depends on what YOU like. It's YOUR kid, ya know? Anyhow, just amazing SOOC capture!

    2. His skin seems too bright here. But I love his expression.

    3. Watch the tree growing from his head ... I think it's hard to remember everything like that when I'm capturing my own kids though.

    4. awww!!!! There's a bit too much contrast going on in his skin. But I love his happy face!
