*Knock on Wood* I have some days where I feel half way normal again, yay! Though yesterday I was back to feeling like death, but hey, I'm thankful for the few good days I get!
So, I did a very brief mini session with Luke for his 3 year portraits. I'm two weeks late on that, but it's better than never. Lasted maybe 15 minutes, LOL! He hates the camera!
Also had a family session with two kids on Sunday, though I haven't edited any of those yet. It felt good to be behind the camera again though, and I'm happy with how they came out.
Anyway long story short, here's my first edit from Luke's pictures. You can see how thrilled he looks with the process. CC welcome of course:
f/3.2, SS 160, ISO 400, Natural light
And to make myself feel good (LOL!) here's a shot from last year that I took right before his second birthday. OH THE HORROR!!! Granted, these aren't sRGB or sharpened for web (b/c I had no clue about that stuff last year), but it's still AWFUL!
I've missed you gals!
I'm so glad you're feeling better!!! Can't wait to see some from your shoot, I've really missed seeing your work. And while Luke looks less than thrilled, he's as cute as ever. I think it's a nice shot! I'm cracking up at last year's picture, you really have come a LONG way! But it's great to see, ya know? I mean, there's nothing like comparisons to show growth.

Thanks gals! Yes I really need to do my one year post (one year was mid September--I suck so bad that I haven't done that yet!). Newtomom (sorry I don't know your real name!) of course there is hope! This board is such an amazing place to learn--I hope you stick around!
I was just about to ask you your lighting setup and then saw NATURAL LIGHT? Wow, it looks great. I have that same seamless color and cannot get it to look anywhere close to that. Way to go on your growth in the last year! He is ADORABLE, even with the less than thrilled face, it shows his little personality!
Now a dumb question...what is sRGB? I sharpen for web, but no clue what sRGB means?
Glad to hear you are feeling better! Sounds like you have had a rough first tri!
Yes I still love his little face here! I have a bunch to edit (even some with smiles, yay!) but this was one of the first ones I saw and I had to edit it.
Looks great Meagan. Sorry you are still feeling sick now and then. I get days like those too, and I am half-way. Hang in there. Luke is getting really big!
