I can't believe I did this! Need crop advice

I can't believe I chopped the feet. My aunt had asked me to do family portraits when we were in Wisconsin last month. I finally got around to editing them this weekend. I have all 19 of them in one picture ... and chopped the bottom of my uncle's foot there. Then I have my aunt & uncle with the grandkids ... and chopped his foot again. Here's my aunt & uncle and their four sons ... major foot chopping (this is the worst!). This is more of an outtake shot, I have two nice portraits without the laughs (but I'm loving their expressions here). How can I crop this so that it's not so awkward?

You have permission to download and try a crop here for me. Wink

Um, yea good luck LOL! I played with this just for fun to see what else could be done and I got nothing! Hope someone else has a good idea for you.
But, on a positive note, limb chopping is generally something only photographers notice and since this was for your family, I doubt it will bother them. I really like the funny moment you captured in this picture and I think that stands out more than the foot chop anyway! Just my opinion anyway .

Could you "extend" the bush that is in the front to his left?

okay... so I did a real quick (2 minute) play... I'm not sure I dig this either, but since the feet of the lady are hidden I thought maybe it would work... I'm sure you could make something like this look much better if you played with it longer...

I posted the same dilemma on Clickin Moms and someone suggested the same thing you did - I think it's a brilliant idea, and I'm definitely gonna give it a go. thanks for the play (yours looks better than the one at CM Wink )
