Default I'm back, sorry been away a long time!

Ok so I decided I needed to get my camera out again and practice. Not sure what I think to these and whether I see an improvement or not....

I haven't posted on this board for absolutely ages but I really need to get back into taking photos and improving but I seem to have come to a standstill anyone relate?

First off, glad you came back and you got your camera out!

As for CC, I am a total newbie, so my CC shouldn't count. But, I want to say these are great pics, and your catchlights look amazing!

    I will CC a few-
    1) I really like this one. The pose is good.
    2) Not sure about whatever that is in the corner...with the pink eye. I wish there was a way it wasn't in the pic. I wouldn't mind the white fuzzies, but I don't like the eye. I like her smile in this one b/c it looks really natural!
    6) My fav of the bunch!

They all seem a little cool (white looks a little blue) to me, but I don't know if that means anything! TFS!

Thanks! The white thing is a monkey it was a bribe to get her to have her photos taken

I need another method of bribery, any ideas?

I warmed this one up a bit, is it overwarm or ok?

The one that you did a second edit on is my fave! I like it better warmed up a bit. I wanted to say that Im totally jealous of your floors. I think your focus looks good, but the set seems a bit dark to me.

    Thanks!

Maybe the set is dark because I took these in the evening when it was starting to get dark! I am going to have another go tomorrow when there is more natural light to play with and I don't have to up my ISO to 800.

welcome back! i was gone for awhile too and recently got back into it again. it happens!

nice shots! some look a bit underexposed to me though. do you shoot in raw? you could easily fix it in ACR your edit looks better color wise, just could use a little bit of brightening.

No idea on bribery, seeing I need advice on it too! It's hard huh? That's why I am asking if I can take pics of others b/c mine is sick of the camera!

I LOVE the edit! I like it much warmer. That one is now my fav!

I wish I had that option I put the camera away for ages because of the whining I got as soon as they saw it but hopefully I can get more cooperation now!

absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? Or at least in this case, more tolerant.

I hope it works for you. Unless I'm taking candids of him, DS flat out refuses to get in front of the camera for me these days. *sigh*

I *love* your last edit - the warming up really made a HUGE difference and it looks AWESOME to me.

You sure have some lovely floors too. We're having ours redone soon and I hope they look something like that.

    TFS,
