Hello! I used to post here, then I got pregnant, exhausted and really wasn't taking many pictures. Well I have a new model now I wanted to show off. Here is Liam, he was born August 12th and I am having so much fun with all the many opportunities to photograph him. You may remember Amber's post with my maternity photos too. I had so much fun with her and getting to meet her was awesome!
I created a collage so your not bombarded with a billion pictures to load, I narrowed it down the best I could. I am a mommy so you know how hard it is to not put all the pix up :0)
These were all taken over the course of a week when he was 2 weeks old. Taken in my dining room with natural light
Thanks for looking!!
and a few single shots

CONGRATS on your precious little man! He is so handsome! I too love the middle shot top row! How sweet! I wish the first single shot was over him, but still, great shots! Can't wait to see more soon!

Thanks girls !
ITA about the shot in the blue knit cocoon
This little boy loves to keep his legs spread
Any shot of his legs crossed was shot in a split second before they spread back open :0)
Also the knit cocoon I am so proud of I dyed the fiber, spun it and then Knit it. My first time doing all of that for one project
Can't wait for you all to watch him grow through photos!
Marcie! He's so sweet, I'm loving the newborn goodness. The collage is awesome, there are so many photos I love! Congrats!

Hey Marcie! You did an awesome job on these photos. I love the blankets/backdrops you used. They are nice and interesting textures. Mind sharing what they are?

The white blanket is the ofelia blanket from Ikea, the higher priced one and the brown blanket I found at Tuesday Morning. The tag says woven workz. Of course there is the infamous wood paper and then the black is just fleece.
Here is a bigger view of the favorite pic, I worked so hard to cover up his stuff so this shot was miracle :0) I actually was inspired by a shot that was taken of him by another photographer and tried to re create it in my own way.
