Introducing myself

Hi I'm Allie, I'm mama to 22 month old (I'm not saying 2 until the minute he turns lol) Aidan, and Co-host to the April '08 board

I just went out today and bought the Cannon Rebel XSI, it was an impulse buy kind of, I've been wanting a digital SLR for some time but hadn't thought about it for a while, sooooo $800 later after taxes, here I am

I know nothing about photography and I'm hoping to learn alot from you all and pick up some great tips.

ETA: wow I was just browsing through here and you ladies have some SERIOUS talent, I have alot to learn.

I'm loving the pics you all post, and am so amazed at the difference a good camera makes.

Here's a first try with my new camera, I have no idea what any of the settings were set at as I was just messing around with it lol, but anyway it's an intro picture of my DS Aidan *gush*
