I hadn't really used my camera at all between mid-December and late February, due to lots of stressful life "stuff" going on....I was not inspired at all.....but when March came in I started to get the bug again, and then we went RVing in West Virginia last weekend and I was officially back in action! LOL
So here are some favorites from my camping trip.....we have had a NON-winter this year and spring is already in full swing (although we may get hit late, who knows)
5. I called this "Eye of Sauron" LOL
6. a mediocre shot of an adorable Red Squirrel--they were everywhere but didn't like to be photographed haha....so this is a real feat trying to get a closeup shot of one...
7. moss/Lycopodium macro
9. my cutie-monkey
11. these guys (Southern Leopard Frogs) were making a real ruckus in the pond, when we heard the sounds we thought they were birds at first!!
A few more are at Flickr and FB......

#1 is obviously cool.... but the one that catches my attention most is #3. It looks lika a enchanted forest. Something about the colors... that it was taken from a dark area looking in on something magical. It's a great effect.

I've missed seeing your stuff Amy. I love love love #3
Thank you both! Yes at the time we were taking our walk through the gorgeous mixed forest, there were just so many great patches of misty light coming through at the edges of the forest where it met open fields....it reminded me so much of upstate NY. I just loved it.
Love #3. It would be very cool if your shot your daughter from behind in the forest with a white tutu or dress!
Love, love, love 1 & 3. And I enjoy 13... It's hard to make dead grass look appealing, but you did it!

so glad to have you 'back in the saddle', Amy!
I really love the fire shot. I can feel the warmth coming off of it!
I think #3 may be my favorite though ... looks like something off of the Twilight set.
I also like your 'eye of Sauron'! Would love to see this in b&w as well.
That moss looks like something from another planet!
Eva is growing so fast! Love her cute little rain boots.
I'm off to fb to see more!
My favorite one is the moss one. It drew me RIGHT in. I think it would be fun to do some Eva pics in that forest! Sooooo good to see some work from you!
