Hi everyone! I finally got the internet up and running again. It was such a simple fix, too. Thank goodness for the online Apple community! I would have NEVER figured it out.

Anyway, I wanted to share this photo I caught today! On Saturday, on our way to MIL's house, I saw these giant dandelions on the side of the road. I picked up a few specifically having a vision inside my head of some photos I wanted to take. Well, I got it! I've been trying for quite some time to get a good dandelion shot, so I feel like I hit the jackpot!

I had on my 55-250mm lens, wanting to get lots of background compression so I could make the seeds stand out, seeing as how it's very hard to get it all in focus with a wide open AP. Then, I placed him far away from the background to make him stand out even more with the longer focal length. I had to get down pretty low to do this.

I'd love any feedback you have!

I love it! The giant ones are actually Yellow Goatsbeard/Salsify. They are so cool. I love how 2 of the seeds on the right are pointing the same direction. And the bokeh is awesome.

Do they require any special type of weather? I swear I've never seen those around here in Central IL before. We've not really had weather like this either. It's been very dry and hot.

Love the picture, what a great shot!

The yellow goatsbeard must be what Dana's friend found here, apparently they are native to Ontario, I never knew.
