About a month ago, we had a good discussion going about two cropping styles: using negative space vs filling the frame. This month we are going to explore using negative space.
Let's see the many ways negative space can be used to create an impact in your photos!
Best,

OK. As this is something I struggle with, I decided to jump on in. I'm kinda short on models right now though, so Logan's Legos had to fill the bill for now.
I hope to have some different models for my next attempt.

Here are 2 from me.
DH doesn't like this one...but I really love it. He says "I can't see anything, it's really frustrating". I said "it's abstract honey". In fact, it's pretty much exactly what I was going for.

Thanks GiGi! Glad I'm not the only one.
And inspired by Sadie's STUNNING eyelash shot.

Great pics so far! Sadie's & Amber's "eyelash" pics remind me of the ones I did of Eva last June.
I have some negative-space shots to share but they aren't uploaded yet.
And, for the record, Amber - I can tell exactly what that is a picture of. You look like you were inside your car parked in a driveway. Am I right??
