There are so many more from this shoot, you can see the whole set here.
Is my PP too over the top/atomic??
I was so glad I had my 30mm and not 85mm for this shoot, he kept taking the hat off the second I put it on him.. so it was good to be sitting REALLY close
BTW, the stick was totally unplanned.. I picked it up off the ground to give to him to play with to keep him occupied and from walking away!
I love the first one!!! The eyes are so crisp and beautiful! I love how he's midway to getting that hat off his head too, so cute!
The second doesn't do as much for me comp-wise. It feels more disconnected.
The third is adorable! Still love the first one the most though.
They all look really bright though. Is your red channel clipped at all during PP? I'd guess to to be in the 250 range though at least on his skin.
He is totally adorable! I actally like the 2nd one, but I sort of like those off camera looks from time to time.
The skin is much much to bright for my tastes. He looks very white and close to completely blown.

Thanks guys, I was afraid of that.. I always err on the side of glowing skin LOL! I think I ppd them more conservatively at first and then did one glowy and then got all into that but probably should have left it as is. Sigh. I'm having such a hard time finding a PP style that is dramatic yet understated and not too over the top!
Kill you? Not at all Meagan, you've been so helpful!
So after trying to edit my edits and attempt to get the skintone numbers to work was giving me really wonky results so I went back to the original PPd version and guess what? Numbers were dead on. It looked a bit dull and red to me which is why I went on to over edit..maybe I just need to calibrate.
