I've been itching to hit the neighboring town's historic district - they've been rebuilding it for the last few years and there are some fun places to take pictures - I plan to do an engagement session there in a couple of months, so I really wanted to scope the place out.
I asked DS about it for DAYS - lined up bribes and everything. So after lunch yesterday, off we went. Now, I wasn't looking forward to the full sun and all of its challenges, but I take what time I've got. But by the time we made the short drive there, DS was already done. Didnt' want to be there. Complained of headache and even my bribes weren't moving him to cooperate. *sigh*
I did manage a few shots that I like though. Any/all c&c appreciated though I know a lot of the problems w/ these already (oh, and did I mention that I forgot to shoot in raw ... I've gotten so spoiled by not worrying too much about my wb but needed to switch to jpg the other day and forgot to switch back *sigh*) ....
ANYWAY ... here are the shots ... all taken w/ my 50mm at iso 100.
1. ap=f/2 ss=1/125
2. ap=f/7.1 ss=1/80
3. ap=f/3.5 ss=1/125 (this one was badly under exposed - wish I had bumped my iso)
4. ap=f/2 ss=1/125 (lots of mommy goggles here - even w/ his eyes so dark)
5. ap=f/2 ss=1/125 (he looks way red here, but when I take it out, it looks wrong - he WAS seriously hot)
