I have had a fun 'assignment' as of late - the guy who owns the dojo where we all take judo lessons said he would trade me a couple months tuition for some photos for them to update their website. Of course, I had a ton of judo pictures already, but they teach all kinds of other martial arts there (tae kwon do, arnis, jujitsu, kung fu, and cardio kick boxing) so I am beginning to make my rounds to all of the different classes to snap pictures.
I have only been to a few of the classes so far, but this last week I got a chance to go to the adult jujitsu class. They are doing MMA-style, no-gi training right now, so here are a few photos from that class that I'd like to share with you.
I know I need some white balance adjustments, but if you guys see anything else that needs work, please don't hesitate to let me know.
All photos were taken w/ my 50mm at iso 800. Shutter speed was 1/200 to match the sync speed for my speed light. And my aperture stayed mostly around 2.8 (though on some I closed up to 3.5). Light was very hard to come by though, so I tried to keep things as open as possible.
