I just got asked to do a photo shoot that will end up on a billboard here in town!!!!!

I'm so blown away! It's a martial arts shoot featuring some kids w/ downs syndrome. They liked the photos I took of them at their belt test and Coca-Cola is doing a billboard to promote one of their awareness programs and they want ME to take pictures!!!!

I feel so inadequate, but so BEYOND thrilled. I'm nervous and excited and may not be able to sit still for quite some time.

Anyway ... just had to share.

Very, very cool! I can't think of anyone better to shoot martial arts photos of kids. I hope you'll share!

The shoot went GREAT!!! Mom is super happy as are the owners of the dojo (who will be using the images on their web site)! Billboard should go up Sep 1! I sure hope they let me see the design before then or I might just BUST with anticipation!

I'm waiting for mom's permission to share the images w/ you guys. Nothing super fancy, just a bunch of kids who obviously love studying martial arts - no matter their 'disability' or not. I could really get used to doing this kind of thing.
