Kind of silly question

I'm about to go outside and take a bunch of pics with different settings and then I am going to try ot post them later this week.

How do u know what settings you have used once u download the pic into your computer? Do u write it down on paper so u know? Or is it in the properties somewhere? Does the camera save the settings?

it's embedded in the image. if you use Flickr, then you can grab the info by viewing the EXIF data (that's how I do it). but you can also get the info from your computer by viewing the image properties.

I usually just right click and go to properties. Some photo viewers will also display it on the side of the screen when you open the picture.
