    Default Macro lens fun

Sorry for starting so many threads ... but I had fun with my macro lens yesterday. I have other shots to edit, but I just HAD to open this one. I only slightly adjusted WB in ACR, and did no other editing (other than resize/sharpen for web). I think the detail in my son's iris is just fascinating!!!

Oh, and I had to bribe him with Hershey kisses to get him to sit for this. He wants to try to photograph my eye, so I think I'll let him as this is really cool.

Sorry it's so big, but I really wanted to share the detail

    Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100)
    Aperture f/5.0
Focal Length 50 mm (but then macro conversion lens was added on top of the 50mm lens)
    ISO Speed 800

    andrew's eye

I'll add any more neat macro shots to this thread if I edit them soon.

wow that's great!!! I really need to get me one of those lenses! They sound so much better than my stupid little filters with a horrible DOF.

    WOW! That IS amazing detail!!!

Maybe if you get him interested in photography, he'll be a more cooperative model.

I don't remember your eye ... will have to stalk your Flickr stream for it.
