It really makes me happy when I'm able to take a picture of someone that they like, when they never like pictures of themselves. Yesterday, my grandma was holding my cousin's sleeping baby. I was getting pictures of the baby sleeping on her shoulder, and I decided to get one of my grandma in it. I looked at it on the screen and told her that I loved it. She wanted to see it, and said that she'll be the judge, because she never likes pictures of herself. She looked at it, and she didn't have anything bad to say about herself
Probably one of my new favorites right now. It's so special to have pictures like this of her with her great-grandchildren. It's these "real" moments that I wish I could always capture.
Aw, that's really awesome, Steph! It's a truly beautiful image, and a beautiful and precious memory. We have such awful pictures of our kids with their great-grandparents before they passed away, as at the time, they were in nursing homes with horrid lighting and I didn't know thing one about changing WB or anything to make them look better. It's not about the quality of the image with memories like that, but it is extra special to have a truly beautiful picture to relive those memories, if you know what I mean?

Adorable, and I know what you mean about your grandma not having anything bad to say about it...that's a good feeling!
Such a sweet picture.
That is a beautiful picture, so glad she liked it.

Brings tears to my eyes b/c I feel as though my parents and Randall's parents have no idea what they are missing out on when it comes to our kids. This is an AMAZING shot and so sweet. It's just what a picture is all about- MEMORIES~!
