I'm so excited. I've not had any luck getting ANY portraiture clients lately, so I broke down and had a Fresh Faces promotion to get more maternity images for my website.
Here is the first edit from today in both color and black and white.
Beautiful lady. I wish I could see more of her tummy to tell she's pregnant. If I didn't know, I'd question myself (is she pregnant?)
Maybe if your ap was closed a bit more to bring it in focus a tad more.
I'd like to see more!
Her belly was a challenge because it was SO big. I wish we had done the photos a month ago. The session was an amazing learning experience...I'm just not yet very good at maternity so I think I'll be doing a bunch more PB sessions in the future.
It's beautiful and I like the pose and colors...at first I couldn't tell where her chest ended & her belly began though...I see it now.
I like your new watermark too!

I like it of her, but not so much of her belly because you can't tell so much that it's a bigger belly. Just wish her hand was placed differently so we could see that. But she's beautiful, and I really can't wait to see more from this session.

Great shot. But I didn't notice she was pregnant until I looked at her carefully

Just chug-chug-chugging along.
I *love* it. Sure, it would have been a bigger impact to have the hand emphasize the belly more, but I REALLY love this! I love the different angle. She's a beautiful woman and is wearing her pregnancy very well. And you make her SHINE here! I love conversion as well. It's got a soft feel while still having plenty of contrast (which is something I really like in my b&w).
I think they are great! Like the others have said, I had a hard time telling she is pregnant, but she looks beautiful and you did an amazing job. I really like the B&W, but I think it's even harder in that one to tell that she is pregnant. It almost looks like she has HUGE boobs!!!
Would love to see some more!
