When it arrived today, I was appalled to see distinct gray shadowing in the areas where I'd extended the canvas and placed the text. I figure it must be my monitor, because I had this type of problem with a photo of Nora against a white backdrop, which many of you noticed but I didn't see at all till I viewed it on DH's tablet.
The weird thing is, I had a very similar product printed through GreetingCardUniverse.com -- see this URL Friend - Thank You Card with Purple Flower | Greeting Card Universe -- and there is no problem at all. The card looks perfect, just as it does on my monitor.
It's just so frustrating to order something and then have it arrive looking like crap, when I didn't even know it was a problem... especially given that I've had success printing the product before, just with different text layers.
Anyway, just had to vent, because I'm so disappointed and am just longing for a computer upgrade and a better monitor, and to one day be calibrated.
ETA: DH checked on another monitor, and I checked on the tablet, and it still loos fine, not as it does on the Shutterfly order. I so don't get this. ???
