Well, I don't think it's as bad as you think it is! I think you have some nice shots here!

#1 - I like the comp on this one Smile Yeah, kinda weird that they want the girl there. To each his own, I suppose.

#2 - Not a huge fan of the pose, and kinda wish there was a little more space on the right side of the frame.

#3 - Girls face is a little awkward, but I like where you were going with it.

#4 - Gosh, they have such great smiles on their faces here, but it looks soft to me. Nice comp!

#5 - I would probably try a different crop on this one, if it's not in-camera. I notice that his hand is cut in half, and they're pretty centered.

#6 - I'm not calibrated, but the colors look off in this one, and like you said, you needed some more light in their eyes. But very cute!

thank you so much for your help! #3 was meant to be awkward, they are supposed to be making faces, hers just isnt very obvious that it was on purpose sadly lol
i think on 2 the original has a little more room on the right, i will have to check and 4 is sharper, i was just going for a different pp, silly me lol

thank you so much for your help

Don't be too hard on yourself. You have some good ones in there.

1. Is that their daughter back there? I am confused. I understand what you are going for here if it is, but I think she's too much in the background and the focus is too much on them. Does that make sense?
2. I too wish there was more space on the right. It's like she was just thrown into the pic. They look a tad bit green perhaps?
3. I think this is cute and I like your conversion.
4. really like this one!
5. I think this is great, minus the handchop.
6. yes, it could have used more light, but it's not ruined!! I think it's a great capture!

Again, you did just fine! Don't be too hard.

Yeah, I definitely got that it was a "silly face" shot for #3, I just didn't think her face was silly enough. I like the idea behind it, but wish her face was sillier instead of awkward. Smile Did you have any more from that pose?

thank you so much for all your help and CC!! i just switched to RAW and i wish i had done it before the shoot, it would have definitely helped a lot wish some of the issues i was having...
Steph i do have a 'normal' face one i just havent edited yet, i wish she had just poked her tongue out or picked her nose or something, it would have made it silly without the awkward!

Don't be so hard on yourself for the most part I think you did very well.

Everyone covered most of what I was thinking. Only thing that bugs me is the hair on the woman in #1 it seems super light at the bottom and dark at the top (not sure if you could have done anything about it, could we please see this in colour?

I think the colour version is way better, if you edited the girl out in that one it would be perfect. Yes the hair looks blown in the B&W.

Wow, you've got some gorgeous color in there, I also love your B & W conversions! Nice job jumping in! I think you're being too hard on yourself. The thing that is kinda funny to me is that I'm not sure who the two women are...they look similar in age, so that sort of throws me off. Maybe a different pose of all three of them would have clued me in better. Other than that, nice job! Smile
