I got half of an OCF set up for Christmas (Cactus triggers and an 8' stand). I bought the other half (umbrella and bracket) on Christmas day, and got the last of it in the mail yesterday. So today I set it all up (seeing that three kids are back in school - poor Jack is feeling neglected while I post this - gonna spend some quality time with him as soon as I hit submit).
Here's the setup:
And then a goofy picture without the flash (I'm doing a project 365, today's is self portrait day. I learned that my posture sucks!)
And then with the OCF (no PP other than WB in ACR - I even kept my stupid zit)
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Focal Length: 30 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Natalie turns 4 this month, Jack 18 months so I will be using the OCF for their portraits. So excited!

Nice job Gwen! I am jealous. I really want to learn OCF. We just don't have the space AT ALL!
I wish I have a dedicated area to set up my stuff. I have to keep breaking down mine, so I haven't really used it all that much.

Just chug-chug-chugging along.
I am SO jealous, Gwen! I've got an awesome OCF set up, but I can't lift it right now.
Looks to me like you are off to a GREAT start! I can't wait to see Natalie's and Jack's "official" photos this month!
Awesome set up! Looks like the lighting is working great!
For new stuff! I am so happy for you Gwen! You are an amazing mom and you deserve it! Now TAKE SOME PICS!
