My pumpkin patch pictures :)

Natalie's preschool had a pumpkin patch field trip last week. I took 220 pictures, but I'm not allowed to post any from her class online. Here's my favorite shots of just my kids (the two that went, anyway). Would love any CC

1. This hat had potential ... if the wearer could have been still for 10 seconds Lol
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 22 mm
ISO Speed: 200

2. Let me out!

Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 33 mm
ISO Speed: 200

3. This one I couldn't react fast enough. It was a bit overexposed so I upped the contrast in PP to try to fix my corrections in ACR. But how funny is this kid?

Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 200

4. Ready to go home

Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 33 mm
ISO Speed: 200

Your kiddo's (the ones who went!) are too cute. I feel your poain on the whole "if only they could sit still" I can see the potential of the hat. I still think it's a cute capture.

3 is great! I find that I am sometimes not fast enough in manual to catch those funny little moments. Also, it is slightly too cnetered for my liking.

We had a bright but overcast day on Sunday, when I had purposely gone out to with my camera and found the flat light to be a nightmare, so I think you did well with these.

ROFL @ Jack in #3! That's a great shot! This is my fav.

1) not doing much for me mainly b/c neither of them are looking at the camera- I know, it's not easy! Wink
2) since Nat isn't looking, maybe just crop her out and make it a Jack only photo.
4) great expression here. He looks pissed! Lol

These are great snaps at the pumpkin patch. Can't really comment on color since I am at work with uncalibrated monitor. But I do am seeing the pictures to be a bit on the cool side. #3 is hilarious!

All you ladies are so lucky! I wish there was a pumpkin patch close by that I could get some pics at.

WHAT A COOL PLACE!!!! I love that huge skull on top of the shed in the first and very last pic. I would love to have that in my yard. Smile

My favorite is the last one you posted ... I just love the interaction between Jack and Natalie here. Very sweet moment. I can't comment on color b/c I'm at work, but you might try a tighter crop. The orange bouncy thing in the back on the right keeps drawing my eye.

TFS, Gwen. I love seeing your crew. Smile

Best,
GiGi

cute pix!

#2 - cute looks almost like he's thinking get me out of here
#3 - love those fun shots, but yes you have to be quick with these little ones
#4 - haha don't you take my pumpkin! not sure how the focus is on this one or where it fell but cute
last one - I think I would of like to have seen more of the wagon and less sky

I'm having such a hard time photography Alana these days, she is just getting so much faster and definitely not interested in my camera, still working on a little fun guy for my lens like Amber mentioned making!

I hear ya on the blue background, I'm not sure if it messes with my eyes or not, but I'm at work and well don't ever feel too comfortable about commenting on colors so I won't Blum 3

It looks cool there. I love fall weather. I wish we'd get some instead of all this rain. Blah!

Jack is so flippin' cute. 3 cracked me up. 4 does too. He's like, "ya'll better stay the heck away from my pumpkin!!!"

You have had lots of good cc already. Just wanted to mention that I laughed a good one on your hat comment. I totally understand about the wearer issue you were having that day! lol! Your kids are so cute! Looks like you had fun!

Oh, it was FREEZING that day. We're back into the 70s now (but 40s at night). It got really cold for a while, it was in the low 40s when we were there. And then we had temps in the 40s and continual rain for about 5 days. So the weather we're having today and tomorrow is just insane.
