Need Fresh Eyes on Big Retouch - original added #8

Not gonna say what I did, but it was big enough that I wanna see if anybody notices anything odd. It's kind of a big photo...but I want to make sure you think it will print okay. Because I'm better at preventing problems in the first place...I'm a bit out of practice on difficult photoshop jobs. Guess that's a good thing.

If I had to guess I'd say either something done with her nose (there's an out-of-place looking line across the bridge of her nose, and/or the camera-right side has some uneven lines/shading), or a headswap? the angle of her head is slightly off-kilter...?

I think I saw the same thing as Amy...

Yes right there, and next to her left nostril too. I love her eyes and the overall colors!!! I wish there was more room on camera-left so that all her hair was there.

Ohhh...this was a great idea. The nose is not the spot. That line is a wrinkle...it's in all of her photos and that coloring thing is just some uneven coloring on her actual nose...but I can certainly clean those two things up.

Thanks!

I think it is something with her head/neck. Her neck seems really long and the tilt on her head seems a bit off... maybe its just me Smile

WOW, I think you did a great job. I wouldn't have picked that out. The nose was the only thing that I noticed, and that was after LOOKING for something.

Looks like you smoothed out the bump of hair over her left (camera right) ear.

She seems to have very angular features, but the perspective from which you took this shot truly helps to deemphasize it. NICE!

I wouldn't have guessed that at all! You did a great job making the ends look natural.

the blue catchlights seem a little out of place though. I mean, I know that's out of your control, it's just something I noticed (and know you didn't intentionally do).

I would never have guessed, either--great job! I like the portrait a lot. You've captured her warmth and personality well.

How funny, I thought she was wearing a necklace that you cloned out, her skin looks like it has two different textures. I see freckles right near her blouse at the bottom, then it gets blurry. Must be your focus. AWESOME picture, you have great talent!

Nice job! Sorry to point out "other stuff" that seems out of place when it is really not

No..it's great to have the feedback. Those issues..while they shouldn't be removed completely for an actor's headshot..should be softened.

Wow, I wouldn't be able to tell either! Great PSing. I did notice something just now. It doesn't bother me at all really, but there's a bit of a blue cast in the shadow on her neck from her shirt. Or at least I see it on my monitor here at work (which isn't calibrated).
