New Introduction (pic heavy)

Hello all! I'm new here and was given a link to this thread as a good way for constructive critiscism. I've been on boards before with total pros and was ripped apart so i'm hoping this is a little more friendly. I am by no means a pro yet. I got my first dslr in February this year and am self taught with everything that I do. I follow tons of blogs both from photographers and those for teaching purposes. I really enjoy photoshoots and have done quite a few for family and friends but am starting to branch out as word of mouth spreads. I focus on kids/newborns, but if i could photograph maternity and newborns all day every day, i'd be happy, lol. Anyways....here are some of my favorite photos just to introduce myself. Please be nice with your words but i'm definitely up for some growing and learning words from anyone who can!

thanks all! I got my dslr in Feb. but tried to get a lot of practice with my point n shoot before the investment was made. I'm excited to join with all of you and share work and help each other out!

Welcome! I am by no means a professional. Love the pictures! The hat ones are my favorite. I also really like the 5th one but that little dot of the eye bugs me. I think if it was cropped out the pic would be better, but that's just my opinion.

can't wait to see more.
