I got to do my 3rd newborn session last week and while it was challenging since he was nearly 2 weeks old already, I'm pretty happy with what I was able to get. My most favorite pic of the day ended up being one of the mom standing in front of the bay window nursing her baby boy, but of course that one isn't being postedCC is welcome but not required since i'm not posting settings. I wish i had my f/1.8 lens already but thats is still a few weeks off! The wider open aperature would have made things MUCH easier!

Awww! What a sweet baby! My favorite is #1.
I think I'd like #3 a little better if baby had a diaper cover on. I like the way the chair leads you to him.
I'd probably try to get out the wrinkles in the blanket above baby's body and by the head on #4 if you could. They're a bit distracting to me.
#5 isn't really doing anything for me. I think that baby looks a little too slumped over. I like where you were going with it, but I think I probably would have laid baby down on his belly instead for some better posture.
I love the sweet moment you captured with mom in the last one! I was having some problems with a bright background on a recent maternity session that I did for a friend. I'm not sure what to tell you to help fix it, but I'm thinking it might be to try a different time of day. I do like the framing from the trees that you have going on.
#1 is gorgeous
#2 I like the idea of this, however baby seems to blend in more than stand out in this shot.
#3 is cute, I agree about the nappy(oh I mean diaper) cover
#4 Lovely, smooth out the blanket if you can
#5 I actually think this is cute, grumpy face and all
#6 cute
#7 My fave of the bunch. Very sweet moment![]()
