And I'm so nervous. They're friends and this was part of my gift to them. I'm so nervous that it won't go well. I haven't done that many newborns, and I've yet to get one to really fall asleep for me. I want to try all those cute curly poses...but I'm just so worried baby won't curl for me.
I'm also upset that I don't have a better lens for this. I may end up using the nifty 50 for this because the focus on the tamron is slightly inconsistent ....plus, I dropped the darn thing today and now I'm worried about it. I'd use the 70-200....but the thing is so darn HUGE and I'm not sure I'll have enough space.
UGH!
I'd say go w/ the 50mm ... but don't stress ... you are gonna do GREAT!!!!
Relax and have FUN with this. They're friends. So if you are unhappy, you can always call for a re-do.
Best,
GiGi
oh my gosh. I cant believe you are stressed out! You are going to be great! I use my nifty 50 for newborns everytime. I am so excited to see what you come up with. My advice( I realize Im not worthy of giving you advice) is to take your time. The baby WIll fall asleep eventually!
I am sure you will do great! I can't give you any advice either, but it is great that they are friends, just in case the babe doesn't work well.
Can't wait to see pics
How old is baby? If s/he is under 2 weeks (and if they sleep!) you should be able to get them to curl. Bring a space heater and noise machine. Crank UP the heat before getting baby nekkid. If it's toasty (and you are sweating) then they should stay asleep fairly well.
Do you have a bean bag?
Can't wait to see them! I did my second newborn a few weeks ago. It's on my website.
Can't wait to see them!
