    Default Newborn skin tones?

I've been SWAMPED lately, between this goofy photography scavenger hunt I'm doing (can't stop now, but it's taking a LOT of time), being a mom to four in the summer, and the fact that I just keep taking pictures. I need to finish this maternity set and I promise I will catch up here soon! But just wanted to know what you thought of the skin tones on this baby. I pulled a little red out, but I think any more looks unnatural.

They want to use this for the announcement so I'm trying to at least have this one ready (but I have another 30 still to work on, yikes!)

I promise I'll be back to look at more threads soon (I have to run out for a pie eating contest right now)

Can't comment on color as of right now, since I am on uncalibrated monitor. Will be back to do that. But, the white diaper or underwear is really distracting. Can you crop in tighter? My eyes leads to that area.

this is the in camera crop ... I agree about the diaper being distracting, and I had already cropped it out of the announcement version.

Hmmm...it does look kind of red to me. But I guess it would be better to look a little red than lifeless or whatever. Did you already try adding some yellow? I think that is what helped me the most with my sunburn girl.

I really like the new crop!!! I'm uncalibrated, but it looks like it could still use a hint of brightening? It may just be my monitor, though.

I like the new crop and the skin looks much better here as well. Still seems a touch red, but not so much that I would worry about it.

I can see why mom & dad want to use it for the announcement!

    Can't wait to see more.

I'm still working on this set. There aren't enough hours in the day to get it all done (and I'm about 200 other photos behind). I can't justify spending time on threads here on pg.org until I get this paid session completed. But if you feel like looking at what I've done so far, that would be great. I haven't showed the mom yet, but will probably do a thread here when I'm done editing just to see if anyone catches anything crazy in some of these before I do my in person gallery review with her.

These are on flickr, and here's the link to the guest pass for the set so that everyone here can see them. http://flickr.com/gp/coolmama72/fPw318
