Default Not sure how I feel about the crop

We had snow yesterday, so I went out with the camera. Jordan is my only child that doesn't have brown eyes, and I never tire of photographing her eyes. But I'm not sure how I feel about this crop. It's the in camera crop, so I haven't done anything to it. I don't know if I should crop out the snowy upper lip (she was eating snow, and I do have another shot of that that's not so zoomed in) or if the lip is okay there. I just can't tell ... it's not limp chop, it's lip chop.

    Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)

I wish I could see more of her mouth and chin.

yeah, I know, that's why I struggle with this one. it's the in camera crop, so I can't add it back in. ugh. But I otherwise love this photo! I'll share the pulled back one tomorrow, I realized the colors are off in it, and I have to get to bed. so I will tackle tomorrow.

okay, instead of going to bed, I just did a quick correction, and then two different crops of the second photo. but I prefer her eyes in the first, because we're level to them. in the second one, she's looking up at us. does that make sense?

Personally I would make it into a half face pic and crop the mouth out as well. Love your crop int he seccond pic.

Love the eyes, but I'm not fond of the lip chop. I prefer your second pic to the first. It doesn't bother me that she's looking up.

I'd be interested to see what it looks like if you cropped the lip off and just made it a half face crop.

I like the second pic as well and like the second crop of that one.

I'll play with a crop with her lip out ...

but look, I did it again. Ugh. Hate when I get the in camera crop wrong!

LOVE the 2nd to the last one you posted. The one where you can see her face, but a vertical crop! Lip crop!
