The woman that makes the hats I shot for is now going into TuTus. She dropped off this outfit for me to photograph. This wasn't a 'shoot', but I wanted to see how Rylee would do in the costume, she can be very particular in what she wears.
Any who, this was the very first shot I got and I think I like it. Please CC on color...getting calibrated at the end of this month, woo hoo!!!! Does it look too yellow? Is the vignette too much?
1/125 f/4.0 (doh, just saw this, was wondering why I didn't get a shallower DOF) ISO 400
I love it so much I want to buy the outfit!

I too think she is a bit cool, but what a darling outfit and girl! Eyes look great too! I don't think the vignette is too much.

GRRRR! I lost another post! The network issues here at work are killing me!
ANYWAY ... I agree w/ pp that she is just a TINY BIT cool. The vignette looks fine. In fact, if you hadn't asked us to look at it, I wouldn't have even noticed it. It looks like the normal light fall off from a close crop.
LOVE the composition here. What a sweet grab!
It's been CRAZY busy here at work today!! Finally got a breather to come on here.
Thanks for the feedback and complements! If her face is too cool, how should I go about warming it up? Should I open the RAW file and change the sliders for temp? I think that's where I went wrong with the baby hat pics. I just can't seem to make my adjustments correctly.
ooo, need to clone out the scab on her nose...the poor girl did a face plant into the school's sandbox on Monday Thankfully the big bump on her forehead has gone down (not that you'd see it here)
Adorable shot! I would not have noticed the vingette had you not mentioned it either. There are a few ways you can warm her up. I guess you could do it in RAW, but I tend to think my colours look screwy when I try that. There are warming filters in photoshop but I use a pioneer woman action and reduce the opacity to around 30
